This is for yesterday. I suck.
Day 5 - hosted a classy cocktail and dinner party with ben, then experienced my first salty dog trip. No comment.
-
Day 4- Best purchase of my entire life.
-

Day 3 What’s better than 3 hour naps with cute kittens? Nothing.
-

Day 2-This is for yesterday. I’m not very good at keeping up with these things. Wine, appetizers, blunts, best friends. Enough said. Forever grateful.

Day 1-This post is for yesterday. It just makes sense to start on January 1st. These were the first pictures that i’ve taken so far in 2012. My best friend in the whole world, Morgan, and I apent new years eve together. Funneling beers, jamming out, getting silly stoned, party hopping, talking about everything and laughing uncontrollably. It was my first new years eve in a very long time that i didnt have someone to kiss as the ball dropped, as silly as it is, but i did have my two bests there to give me a warm hug. Love Morgan and Luke forever.

Ive decided im going to make this a photo blog. I’m not one to write about my feelings for the internet to read freely, but I do love posting pictures. Consider this my ‘365 days in pictures’ blog. Hope I keep up with it.

The spiritual search is as illusory as any other search. The search itself is illusory because it has taken one thing for granted: that something is missing. And nothing is missing! Once you take it for granted that something is missing you start looking for it; then you go on looking for it in all directions. And the more you search the more you will miss it, because the more you search the more dust-covered the mirror becomes. The more you travel to seek it, the farther and farther you go in search of it, the more and more frustrated you become. Slowly, slowly you start thinking that it is so far away… “That’s why I am not reaching it.” The reality is just the opposite: you are not reaching it because you are it. It is not far away, it is so close by that even to call it “close” is not right, because even closeness is a kind of distance. It is not distant at all, it breathes in you. It is not there, it is here. It is not then, it is now. It has always been with you. From the very beginning everyone is a Buddha, everyone is a mirror capable of reflecting.
